Minutes of Training Completed

The purpose of the Fentanyl Awareness Training Program for hotel staff is to increase awareness and decrease fentanyl exposures in the work environment. In Northern California, a housekeeper unknowingly cleaned a room that was contaminated with illicit fentanyl. Within minutes while vacuuming a contaminated area, she died leaving two young kids behind.

Safety Services Management’s online training goal is to educate cleaning staff on the hazards of fentanyl and how to identify a dangerous situation to stop these types of tragic events from reoccurring. The training also has a supervisor course which provides management the resources and tools they need to manage a fentanyl incident.

With our fentanyl awareness training, employees working as housekeepers, maids, hotel maintenance and security will be equipped with the knowledge they need to protect themselves and those around them. In less than two hours, we'll teach employees how to recognize the signs of a room that may be contaminated with fentanyl, steps to take to protect themselves, co-workers and guests as well as train supervision how to manage a fentanyl cleanup incident.
